Active East Brighton

Julie and Susie’s aim is to get more local residents taking part in sport and activities by raising awareness of the related health benefits.

What the service offers

The project provides one-to-one sessions for those referred by their GP or other health professional, or those who self refer. Julie and Susie also set up and support a variety of activity groups ranging from short mat bowls to swimming, to sessions for the disabled and for women only. The service aims to help people increase their levels of physical activity, and to reduce levels of both adult & childhood obesity.
